Privacy policy

Who we are

Find Texas Roofers runs findtexasroofers.com, a directory of roofers in Texas. To ask about this policy or about your information, email findtexasroofers@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you send the claim form, we get the business's name, your name, your email address, your phone number, what you want fixed, whether you ticked the featured box, and the listing the claim is about.

When you send the request form, we get your name, phone number, email address, city or ZIP, and what your roof needs.

When you use the chat, we get your messages and any name, phone number or email address you give.

With each form, we also record the page you sent it from.

About the businesses we list, we collect names, addresses and phone numbers from Texas public records, and what each business's own website says. We also keep email addresses we find on a business's website. We don't show them on the site and we don't send email to them.

When you visit any page, our host records the request (your IP address, your browser and the page) so the site can run. We use no analytics and no advertising cookies.

How we use it

We use what you send to answer you, to check a claim before a listing changes, and to fix a listing. If you tick the featured box, we may email you about paid listings. We text you only if you ticked a box that says we may.

Who we share it with

Three companies run parts of the site for us: Vercel hosts it, GoHighLevel holds what you send through the forms and the chat, and Cloudflare checks the forms for bots. They get your information only to do that work.

We send your request to a roofer only if you ask us to, and only to the roofer you pick.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share your phone number or your text consent with anyone for their marketing.

We may share information when the law requires it.

Texts

If you agree to texts, we text you about your claim or your request. How often depends on the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop or HELP for help. You don't have to agree to texts to send a form.

Cookies

The chat and the forms' bot check store small files in your browser so they work: the chat keeps your conversation open, and the check tells a person from a bot. We set no other cookies.

Seeing, fixing or deleting your information

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email findtexasroofers@gmail.com. A person reads every request.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

When what we do with information changes, we change this page and the date at the top.
